I think the best part was the use of the paper character. I don't usually see that many stop motion animations using drawn characters on paper. So this was kind of unique lol. But yeah, I loved it! Hope to see more! :)

I am happy for you like it :-D
I kept expecting a "dum dum give me gum gum" joke. lol
But yeah I gotta question. Did you have inspirations you looked up to? Like Knox Korner for example?
Many projects of mine were inspired by knox's corner, this one not so much. I'd my biggest inspiration for this one was mamshmam
Pretty smooth animation don't get me wrong. Though I'd recommend you post this on YouTube and share a link to Newgrounds. Something this short with nothing going on will get you low scores. But yeah, it still looks nice. Keep up the good work!
Ah, fair enough. Thanks for letting me know
I will say the ship design is pretty creative. Looks like something out of Star Fox. xD
Thank you, to be honest it was somewhat inspired by Star Blazers 2199, but I also went a bit overboard with it lol.
I can tell you use MS Paint to do your animations with. I should know because I used MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker when I was your age lol. I will say it's a great tool to get yourself more comfortable with animations in general, but I recommend you switch to Flash 8 one day. It can really smooth out your outlines and make them less rough. You're obviously new, so I'll give you some slack. Just keep on practicing and animating, and you'll be making great toons one day. Keep up the good work! :)
It was actually Flipaclip and this was in 2020, My animation sucked xD i animate on FireAlpaca and edit with Shotcut. My animations are way WAY better now, i'm still working on them and bad thing is i'm working on 5 projects at the same time xD
I think my favorite part is how the animation is so smooth that the characters were always moving even when they're just standing. I don't see that often on Newgrounds. But yeah, the submission was a blast! Loved the character designs on the guys, the voice acting was hilarious, and the art was really spot on. Keep up the amazing work! :)
Thank you for the kind comment :)
Really did love everything about this! First of all, I admired the rough outlines. It makes for a great dramatic feel to this. Also love the use of claymation in this! It gives a weird alien feel in contrast to the 2D animation. And lastly, the character designs felt original and fresh. I don't always come across dramatic and tense submissions like this, but when I do it's a treat! I don't know if you'll continue this story, but I hope you do. Keep up the amazing work! :)
Hey thank you so much for the rating!! I dont think I plan on continuing this, but who knows!!
The linework was obviously the best part of this submission. It's just very anime and detailed lol. But I would've put in sound effects or something just to make this more engaging. Either way, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the feedback! I’ll definitely keep sound effects in mind for next time
Pretty much just an animator for fun! Hope you enjoy my content!
