The one problem I had with this is that the voice acting was pretty quiet half the time, and putting that together with very loud sound effects is not good. If you don't have Audacity, I recommend getting it. It can help amplify the voices and make them on par with every other piece of audio. With this aside, everything else was pretty great. The animation was the best part, and I love how you blur rapid movements to make the magnitude feel powerful. The background art was nothing special, but the character designs were great! Hope the 2nd piece is good because this was a blast. Keep up the good work! :)

Thank you for pointing out what needs work and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The animation itself is pretty great! The movements are legit, and you got some great art talent in general. I'd give this a higher score if it wasn't for that 8 minute commentary on that 1 minute animation. This would work more on YouTube than on Newgrounds. If you do make something like this again, I recommend only submitting the animation part and putting the commentary on YouTube with a link to it in the description below the animation. But yeah, keep up the great work!

Well, it's an HD re-release of an old animation of mine, so the extra content is there for older fans of mine. I never expect everyone to watch the entire thing, they can tune out whenever they want. Thank you for watching though! I appreciate you taking the time.

Did I walk into a Rick & Morty short? This felt like something off Adult Swim lol. Very random, and also pretty funny. Keep up the good work!

NateCook responds:

Thanks for the kind words friend

Granted MS Paint can be used really well if you're talented with it, and this coming from someone who use to make animations with MS Paint. But alas, I do recommend you upgrade to a better legit animation program like Flash 8 for example. I can tell you got some talent in animation, it just needs to be polished more. And I bet you'd be great at Flash too. Good luck in future projects!

SONIC UNDERGROUNDS!

Very fluent animation when comparing to the original source. Not bad mate!

DiogoTV responds:

Thank you!

Obviously more animation could've been put into this, but I do admire the sketching/drawing that was in the submission. You clearly got some talent. Not to mention you hit some nostalgia stings inside me with that music lol. Welcome to Newgrounds! I hope you have a good one! :)

Kcpret responds:

Tysm!! Idk what to put in and I'm still quite unfamiliar with things hehe. I'll be sure to show more work here and introduce my stupid stuff to everyone :]

Based on the thumbnail of this submission, I didn't know what to expect. I guess that was to surprise everyone with this lmao! For an animation loop, it was very great to look at! I adore the art in this. I can tell this took you a very long time to make. Though it makes me wonder what it would've looked like if it was a whole animated cartoon. But alas, this alone is worth some praise. You have drawing skills, and I'd love to see it explored more! Keep up the amazing work! :)

Cocobungus responds:

Thanks man I appreciate the kind words. I love what everyone's been doing too and even if it's not for the jam I'm definitely gonna finish the main toon I wanted to do.

You have an interesting thing going on here, but the whole submission felt a bit lackluster. Now the art itself was the best part about this video, you definitely has some drawing skills. However, the animation was really hit and miss. The walk cycles in this were pretty great, but there should definitely be mouth movements. You don't really have to lip sync, but just have the mouths move up and down like an anime or something. Another thing is that there should be more audio in this than just the voice acting. Either have some music playing in the background, or maybe outdoor sounds. Anything just to fill the void. Speaking of voice acting, make sure all the lines are amplified. Some of your voice actors were really quiet compared to others. If you don't have Audacity, I strongly recommend it. It's free and it'll help improve your lines a lot. You have potential with this, it just needs to be improved on. Good luck!

TawnyLight responds:

Hi! Thanks for your feedback! I currently have 3 episodes made, and episode 3 is edited, since that is when I was able to hire an editor!

So you take drawing requests? That's nice man. :)

Barnhouse responds:

Yes I do! And I am building all my assets to launch my twitch show very soon.

Pretty much just an animator for fun! Hope you enjoy my content!
