Hey everybody, sorry for disappearing like a week ago. Aside from me getting college work caught up, not much has really been happening. Either I was doing stuff for college, or I was working on my animation. Also it's mostly because I was just too lazy to update anything lol. But yeah, my folks finally got me the programs that I need for my 2D animation class! I couldn't be any happier to see everything that I need for this semester ready. With all of the supplies in my hand, I hope to do well this semester! :)

So for my animation "Chili and Crackers", I got some good and bad news. The good news is that my last voice actor finally got his lines in to me a few days back. I've been meaning to talk about it, but I just kept on forgetting lol. So this means I can finally work on the animation for Chili and Crackers right? Well the bad news is that when I went back to college, I forgot to put all the progress I made on the cartoon into my flash drive. So all the progress is still at my home on my desktop. This means I'll have to wait until next month for when I go back home on my 21st birthday to get all of the Chili and Crackers progress. Although I'll have to put the project on hold, there is still the Wacky Brothers video to work on. Remember that? Well in the meantime, I will be working on that cartoon for as much as possible until my birthday comes up. Hell, I may even get done with the Wacky Brothers video. Who knows lol. So yeah, I got plans ahead of me. How about the rest of you? ;)

So it seems getting that textbook for the 2D animation class will not be easy. I only have about $12 in financial aid left over from the time I went to be bookstore and got most of my textbooks for the other classes. Right now Mrs. King is trying to get in word with Todd to see if there is anything that can be done about it. I should be receiving word from her tomorrow if anything worked out. All I can do now is cross my fingers. :/

Been doing college work for Photoshop Basics. It's been a bit tough, but luckily I managed to pull through. lol

So last week I woke up with this massive headache. It sort of felt like nails were being driven into my head. But luckily, I went to the nurse station and they gave me a couple pills to get rid of my headache. And I felt great the entire day. For the rest of the week, I had this idea for my next piece of art based around headaches, and this was the result. Hope you like it! :)

So luckily I manage to get Photoshop CS6 downloaded on my computer for free. I'm gonna be needing it for this piece of work that is due this Tuesday. It will be for my class Photoshop Basics (obviously lol), and it should be a breeze to do my work now. Pretty happy and relieved! :P

So I found out that next monday will be MLK day, and there will be no college then. So next week I'll be in college only on Wednesday! I like how I go from being in college every other day to only 1 to 2 days a week. But even then, I still have my online classes to take care of. At least I can spend more time doing my work in the comfort of my own dorm. Ain't that great? :)

So I finally got most of my books from the college bookstore today! It took a little while due to bad weather, but I got most of my books which I really do appreciate. However I still need my textbook for the 2D Animation class. Sadly, the big sandy bookstore doesn't have the books for it. According to which, the 2D Animation class itself is at the Hazard community college. So in other words, either I have the alpha staff order one online, or transportation has to take me all the way down there just to get my textbook. Pretty soon I'll talk to the alpha staff and see what they can do about it. But for now, I appreciate what I got. :)

So after a long while of waiting, my 2nd semester begins today. So far, 3 of my 5 classes are made available online. One is an online class I'm still waiting on, and the other is Design Concepts. It's In-Class so I'll be in it today at 1 pm. The ones I got available are Writing I, Typography, and Photoshop Basics. All 3 are online, and there is plenty to do. I still need to get my textbooks from the college bookstore so I'll be ready. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow when I'm not in college. This is going to be little hard to pull through, but I will do my best to do great this semester. Wish me luck! :)
